Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensures timely mechanical & electrical maintenance and repair of all plant machinery.
• Plans and ensures regular, preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of the plant, equipment and utilities as per the schedule with proper documentation.
• Conducts root cause analysis for any abnormal conditions/failures, take required corrective actions and initiate preventative measures.
• Ensures timely indenting of tools and requirements for machine maintenance
• Prepares & analyses utilization reports of various machines and power supply to suggest cost efficient alternatives
• Coordinates with outsourced vendors/manufacturers of machinery & equipment for critical breakdowns
• Conducts fire & safety audit and delivers fire & safety trainings to employees on periodic basis.
• Ensures the efficiency of the plant by optimizing the utilization of power and reviewing the cost effective utilization of machines and suggesting modifications in machines thus improving productivity in terms of cycle time, manpower reduction, speed
• Conducts internal audit of the team for TS,ISO purposes and coordinates with external auditors by providing relevant documentation & records.
